What Is PDF Markly?
PDF Markly lets you add text, check marks, signatures, and more directly to PDFs, with all processing performed locally. Complete government forms, bank documents, and applications on your computer without printing them.
Its most important feature is that your PDFs are never sent to an external server. All processing takes place within your browser, so you can work with personal information and confidential documents with confidence. It is also free.

This update focuses on reducing repetitive entry and making it easier to align information neatly on forms.
1. Save and Reuse Common Text
Save frequently used information such as your name, address, phone number, and company name, then insert it into a PDF with one click. Saved information remains on this device and is not sent externally.
2. Insert Today's Date: Gregorian and Japanese Era Formats
Insert today's date with one click for application and completion dates. Both Gregorian formats such as 2026年6月7日 and Japanese era formats such as 令和8年6月7日 are supported.
3. Line and Rectangle Tools
Drag to draw correction lines, underlines, and boxes. Together with the circle tool for marking choices, these tools support a wider range of forms.
4. Adjustable Character Spacing for Boxed Fields
Use the spacing slider to fit addresses or account numbers into form fields that require one character per box.
5. Grid Display and Snapping
Display a guide grid and snap text or check marks to it when placing or moving them. Elements align neatly even when positioned approximately. Arrow keys also allow fine adjustments in 1 px increments.
6. Import and Reuse Signature and Seal Images
Save imported signature or personal seal images and place them in PDFs whenever you need them. Drag a corner to resize an image intuitively. PNG files with transparent backgrounds sit cleanly over the document.
Seal images are decorative and are not legally valid electronic signatures. Please check the receiving organization's requirements.
7. Copy and Paste
Copy and paste entries using ⌘C and ⌘V. Reuse the same content in another location or on another page.
