夢と現実の交響詩：ミネリ作品のテーマ性と映画史への影響
ミネリ作品の代表的テーマは何と言っても夢（幻想）と現実のせめぎ合いです。ミュージカル映画では、音楽と踊りの場面そのものが現実世界から乖離した「夢」のような時間を生み出します。『巴里のアメリカ人』のバレエ、『ブリガドーン』の魔法の村、『晴れた日に永遠が見える』の前世シーンなど、観客を現実の物語から一時解放し純粋なイマジネーションの世界に誘う演出はミネリの十八番でした。

武満徹と映画音楽｜音響設計を映像制作に活かす視点
武満徹の創作活動の原点を語る上で欠かせないのが、1950年代初頭に詩人・瀧口修造らとともに結成した「実験工房（Jikken Kōbō）」での活動である。戦後の混乱期にあって、武満は正式な音楽教育を受けることなく独学でジャズやフランス近代音楽、前衛音楽に傾倒していた。1930年に東京で生まれ、幼少期の一部を旧満州で過ごした武満は、少年期に終戦を迎え、進駐軍放送を通じて初めて西洋音楽に触れた。
